At one of my stations, the sales have been absolutely killed due to a brand new big OnCue being built right across the street, went from doing 100k gallons to 20k gallons per month. However, the C store we have now leased out to some people running a mexican market and I am only operating the gas. Our card readers in the dispenser are no longer approved due to not being EMV chip capable so now we are prepay only, which also killed our sales. I am looking to replace these with refurbished dispensers from Graffco. Anyone here know much about flexpay 2 vs flexpay 4? I know that flexpay 2 is older, but the quote with those was around $25,000 cheaper total for 5 dispensers compared to getting dispensers that come with flexpay 4 kits. Would it be a mistake to save the money and go for 2? How long until they become outdated and forced to be changed out?
Also, our premium barely sells, maybe 30 gallons a day compared to diesel and unleaded which can do about 600 gallons a day total. It is located in a hispanic community so I am thinking to sell Pure 87 instead of the 91. So itll just be e10 87, pure 87, and diesel. Would this be a good idea to increase sales?
